Lose Abdominal Fat With Weight Training and Aerobics

If you want to burn off more abdominal fat, do intense weight workouts followed by 30 minutes of aerobics.

According to researchers from East Carolina University, weight training increased subcutaneous (fat under the skin) abdominal fat oxidation and promoted whole-body fat burning during and after exercise. A good form of intense weight exercise would be circuit training.

Circuit training involves performing each exercise with little or no rest between exercises. Japanese researchers showed that intense weight exercise uses stored carbohydrates which forces the body to use more fats during aerobic exercise. This is just one more case for combining weight exercise with aerobic exercise.
