Today, I Saw The Answer To The Obesity Problem!

I was driving around running errands today and saw something good....I saw the answer to America's obesity problem! It is 90 degrees today, sunny and no school. At two different school playgrounds today I saw a group of boys playing "2-hand touch" football, a group of girls and boys playing basketball and a group of boys playing basketball! That is exciting to me because I see this less and less!

Exercise (and good nutrition of course) is the answer to America's obesity problem. And, you don't have to go to the health club to do it....just get active every day! There is no better cardio exercise than playing "2-hand touch" football for an hour or two! The same with basketball, soccer or you pick the sport! And, guess what? These exercise activities will work for adults too!

So, what's the point Mark? Get moving and get moving as much and as often as you can! Here's another example: one of my errands was getting my Fitness Hut Truck inspected. Waiting around on car repairs or inspections will bore you to tears! So, I just walked back and forth for about 30 minutes to pass the time. Its not complicated....just get active! That is the answer!

  1. Obesity is certainly a growing problem. Over the last 20 years, obesity in adults has rocketed with more than 60% in men and 50% in women. And the signs are that this problem won't improve. In children aged between 2 and 15, 28% of girls and 22% of boys are overweight.
